ARTWORLD PRIVACY POLICY

Artworld respects the privacy of all its users, and treats personal information provided as confidential. Artworld is committed in ensuring compliance with the requirements of the Personal Data Protection Act 2010. Artworld Privacy Policy (“this Privacy Policy”) explains the collection and processing of your personal information including the use of such informaton as well as other important matters related to your privacy and personal information. This Privacy Policy does not apply to the practices of other entities or websites that Artworld does not own or control or to people and entities that Artworld does not employ or manage.
 

By providing your personal data, continuing your user account with Artworld, you are deemed to have read and consented to the processing of your personal data in the manner prescribed here. 

1. ACCEPTANCE OF THESE TERMS
   1. This Privacy Policy is incorporated into and subject to Artworld General Terms of Use and Artworld Sale of Goods Agreement. If users do not agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy, please do not provide Artworld with any information and do not use the Website. 
   2. By using the Website and voluntarily providing personally identifiable information and on the Website, your consent to the collection and use of such personally identifiable and information as set forth in this Privacy Policy.
2. COLLECTION OF PERSONAL DATA
   1. Personal information in this Privacy Policy refers to personal information obtained from you which can identify you as an individual. Personal data collected may include, but not limited to, your personal details provided in the Website or information contained in any engagements, meetings and correspondence between Artworld and you (“Personal Data”). Personal Data may be in the form of data, photographs or moving images. The provision of your Personal Data is voluntary. You may disagree or subsequently withdraw your consent to the processing of your Personal Data. However, Artworld will be unable to administer your membership or facilitate any purposes outlined in Paragraph 4 below.

At the time of registration, you may be required to provide on the Website certain information which includes your name, address, phone number and email address. Upon your registration on the Website, you are assigned one or more login IDs and passwords that will enable you to access the Website. You shall take reasonable precautions to protect against theft, loss or fraudulent use of such IDs and passwords and you are solely responsible for any losses arising from another party's use of such IDs and passwords, either with or without your knowledge.

Artworld receives and stores any personal information you knowingly enter on the Website whether via computer, mobile phone, other wireless device or that you provide to Artworld in any other way. This personal information may include your personal data such as your name, phone number, email address, photograph, and any other information necessary for Artworld to provide the services or pursuant to local laws and regulations.
3. PERSONAL DATA OF CHILDREN AND MINORS
   1. Except where required by local laws, Artworld does not knowingly collect Personal Data from children or minors. If you are a child or minor, you shall only use the Website with the permission and consent of your parent or guardian. A child or minor means a person who has not attained the age of eighteen years.  
   2. Artworld may collect Personal Data through the Website from a child of minor where their parents or guardians has consented for that children or minor to use the Services and disclose Personal Data to Artworld for the use and benefit of providing the Website.

   2. In order to facilitate interaction among users of the Website other users may share information with you or you may be allowed to access certain information about other users of Artworld.    (d) in the event of a potential, proposed or actual sale of Artworld ’s business or in a merger or re-organisation exercise involving Artworld.

   1. Artworld has adopted reasonable industry standard practices to ensure that there are adequate safeguards and techniques to protect the data of the user against any unauthorized or unlawful disclosure. Artworld will not store, copy, disclose or use the data of the user except as necessary for the performance by Artworld of its obligations under this Privacy Policy.
   2. Artworld employs physical, electronic and procedural safeguards to protect the information receive by Artworld from users from unauthorized disclosure. Artworld limits access to personal information about user to employees of Artworld who Artworld believe reasonably need to come into contact with that information to provide the Services to users or in order to do their jobs. 
   3. Users should not share their password with anyone. In addition, if user suspect unauthorized access to its information, it is user’s responsibility to contact Artworld immediately. Artworld will never ask user to divulge its password in written or electronic communications. Artworld cannot guarantee that information user transmit utilizing on the Website is secure, however Artworld will always make reasonable efforts to ensure the security of the data provided on Artworld. Unauthorized entry or use, hardware or software failure and other factors may compromise the security of user information at any time.
7. RIGHT TO ACCESS AND CORRECT YOUR PERSONAL DATA
   1. You may request to access or make change to any personal informaton relating to your held in the database of the Website. You should update the personal informaton held by the Website whenever there is a change. A request to access and change the personal information shall be subjected to the applicable laws and regulations. A request for access shall also be subjected to a payment of access fee as allowed under applicable laws and regulations.

   Your personal informaton collected and processed in accordance with this Privacy Policy may be retained by Artworld for a reasonable period as allowed under relevant and applicable laws and regulations. 

9. CHANGES TO THE POLICY
   1. Artworld reserves the right to amend or modify this Privacy Policy at any time. Any changes to this Privacy Policy will be reflected on the Website. Updated versions of this Privacy Policy will include the date of the revision so that you are able to check when the Privacy Policy was last amended. You are advised to monitor this policy for changes time to time.
   2. Any changes to this Privacy Policy will become effective upon posting of the revised Privacy Policy on Artworld.
10. MISCELLANEOUS

    Artworld Privacy Policy is written in the English and Malay languages. In the event of any inconsistency or conflict between the English and Malay versions, the English version shall prevail.
